Ya'at'eeh, and welcome to the Navajo Nation, where the beauty, mystery and natural wonder surround you at any one of the many amazing places or sacred sites that await you here. The Navajo Nation covers over 27,000 square miles, occupying northeastern Arizona, the southeast portion of Utah, and northwestern New Mexico. The Navajo Nation is home to many parks, sacred monuments, museums and sites that are both breathtaking and mystifying, and need to be seen and experienced to be appreciated.

 

 

This enchanted, sacred land has many awesome natural wonders that entice visitors from around the world to visit. Here you can step back in time and see how the ancient ones – the Anasazi people- lived thousands of years ago. The Navajo Nation has an array of ancient ruins, including the world renowned Navajo National Monument and the tranquil Chaco Culture National Historical Park. From the towering cliffs of Monument Valley to the sparkling glints of Wheatfields Lake in the Lukachkai Mountains, this is a land with many faces.

 

 

 

From North to South, East to West, this is land of great contrasts and beauty. The Navajo Reservation is home to more than a dozen national monuments, Navajo tribal parks and historical sites. Note: Four Corners Monument is open on a limited basis. The monument will be open on weekends only, construction will continue until late June 2010.  Operating hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
